For the week of December 2nd we are looking forward to The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug which comes out on December 13. We finally get to see the Dragon! Just like with Game of Thrones, they teased up with trailers and a glimpse in the first Hobbit movie. Aside from that this one should be good if only because all the movies up to this by Peter Jackson have been outstanding.

We are also looking forward to finding a screening of The Punk Singer. Its a biopic about Kathleen Hanna and the riot grrl scene. The director Sini Anderson is a bit off in my book, but by all accounts that is part and parcel with doing film like this. We expect it to be quite good.
